The St. Vincent’s hospital postmark. I was quite surprised by this, as the postmark was available in the lobby of the hospital. On April 17, 1925, Babe Ruth underwent an operation for an intestinal abscess at St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he will remained for six weeks.
I obtained the St Vincent’s postmark on Artcraft cachets, since I always liked their designs. My own linoprint cachets did not offer the detail that I liked on the engraved cachets
